Sunwah has been involved in the real estate sector for over three decades. Activities in the sector commenced in Macau in 1977, when Sunwah successfully bid for its first site. In the following years Sunwah developed over 30 industrial and commercial buildings, hotels, shopping centres and residential units in Macau.
Sunwah signed a global alliance in 2008 with long-time partner Marubeni Corporation, a leading Japanese trading company with import, export, offshore trade and investment activities in a range of sectors. After commencing business relations in their first partnership 15 years ago with Sunwah Tower in Ho Chi Minh City, Sunwah and Marubeni have embarked on projects in the cities of Tianjin and Shenyang.
Mainland development activities are extensive with completed projects such as the 34-storey Sunwah Technology Tower in Shenyang and the 25-storey Grandview Garden residential and commercial tower in Zhongshan.
Currently, Sunwah has active development arms in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Canada.
